Matthew Payne will return to the Dunlop Super2 grid this week. After a mega start to the Super2 season, Payne sits 3rd in the championship with 624 points to his name and is confident of a strong showing at Sandown to enhance his claims for the championship.
Matt returns to the track after a high-speed incident in Spa during the 24-Hour race in which he competed alongside Stephen and Brenton Grove as well as Adrian D'Silva. He walked away from the incident unharmed which is a testament to the safety of the Porsche GTR, safety barriers, medical staff and marshals.
The upcoming round to be held at Sandown International Raceway will see three races take place over 2 days at the historic circuit.
