GROVES SET FOR FIA GAMES WEEKEND

Updated: Nov 3, 2022

Brenton and Steven Grove will be lighting up Circuit Paul Ricard this weekend for the FIA Motorsport Games running from the 26th to the 30th of October. The father-son duo will be joined by Porsche factory driver and 2016 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia champion, Matt Campbell who will also participate in the GT Sprint category. Steve will captain the Australian team which includes bright up and coming talents in Australian Motorsport across various categories.

Their international campaign will see them go up against the best of the best with 72 countries entered this year.

Stephen, Brenton and Matt Campbell will be behind the wheel of their recently unveiled Porsche GT3 RS with the support of Earl Bamber Motorsport

Steve and Brenton discussed their international campaign recently whilst attending the opening ceremony in Marseille.

“The games have grown so much from 2019 in Rome, it’s much bigger now. To come back and try and have another go, especially with Brenton and the rest of the team is really exciting," Stephen Grove said.

“The standard of drivers through all the categories, the level is as good as anywhere in the world.”

Brenton sat down recently to this weekend's games:

"It's cool having the opening ceremony with all the other teams there and it can get a little bit daunting for some of the younger competitors so it's exciting to have someone like Steve to support them and help them through the weekend and I guess take a bit of pressure off as well," Brenton Grove said.

"We're really looking forward to try and bring the team together and help out wherever we can whether it's driving tips or it's line or anything that we can bring, we're hopefully looking to pass on."
