Grove Racing announces new CEO: Troy Bundy

Grove Racing is thrilled to announce the appointment of Troy Bundy as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

With over 25 years of extensive commercial experience and a proven track record in sports management, Troy brings a wealth of expertise to the role. His background spans notable positions within Supercars, AFL, and NRL, positioning Grove Racing for substantial growth in the Australian sporting arena.

Troy's most recent role was as the leader of the One Make & GT racing program for Porsche in North America, overseeing racing initiatives in IMSA, SRO, and Formula 1. As Head of Motorsport for Porsche Cars Australia, he played a pivotal role in advancing motorsport operations in Australia, driving record participation levels and developing the Porsche Junior Development program, which has seen rising Supercars stars like Jaxon Evans and Cameron Hill emerge from its ranks.

As part of a broader restructuring within the Grove Group, Brenton Grove will transition from his role as CEO to become the Executive Director of Grove Racing, continuing to report to Stephen Grove, Executive Chairman. Brenton's previous tenure focused on establishing Grove Racing business following the acquisition of Kelly Racing, and now with key strategic milestones achieved, he will concentrate on advancing the overall Grove Group of companies as the group’s overall CEO.

David Cauchi, the incumbent Team Principal, will retain his position and continue to spearhead on-track performance across all Grove Racing programs including re-launching motorsport competition within the Australian GT Championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup Championship. Bundy's appointment is expected to enhance Cauchi’s role, allowing him to leverage his performance and operations expertise with the race team to propel Grove Racing’s performance forward.

Troy Bundy's appointment underscores Grove Racing's commitment to expanding its commercial reach and diversifying its motorsport portfolio beyond Supercars. This strategic move aims to bolster the team's position as a leading platform in the industry.
