It was an impressive start to Oscar Targett's campaign in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge last weekend.
He backed up a strong performance in the Practice sessions with a P8 in Qualifying however he shone in the following races with a P3 and P5 in Races 1 and 2.
In the final race of the weekend, he came P2 for the 45-minute main race and an overall P3 finish for the weekend.
This would be Oscar's first race in the Grove Hire Porsche after making the move up from karting where he competed internationally, making a consistent, fast and clean start to his 2023 campaign.
After completion of the final race, Oscar said. "Great final race of the weekend; ended up P2 and that put me 3rd overall for the round so very happy to end up coming home with a trophy in my Porsche Michelin Sprint Cup debut. We go again in Sydney in a couple of weeks' time!"
Oscar is also competing in the Toyota Gazoo 86 Racing Series which will kick off at Phillip Island this weekend.
